# chaser\_getenginebaysize

Calculates and returns the current vehicle engine bay size, the vehicle class must be supported by C.H.A.S.E.R or else might produce unexpected results, can produce unexpected results on bad 3d models.

Example:

```lua
            if vehClass <= 7 or (vehClass >= 9 and vehClass < 13) or (vehClass >= 17 and vehClass <= 22) or vehClass == 8 then
                local size = chaser:chaser_getenginebaysize(vehicle,vehClass)
                if size > 0 and size < 100.0 then
                    print(size)
                end
            end
```
